There are times when people misdiagnosed you when you go through challenges in life. "God is not blessing you because..." Then you try to doubt yourself and the struggle is surreal. But God is our comfort. He alone knows our inner thoughts, the motives and intentions of the heart. True, keep following Jesus even when at times people misunderstood you.

Amen. Thank you for this reminder, pastor. Throughout the Bible, obedience to God's word brings hope, strength, and joy. Like the Israelites during Nehemiah's time, who dedicated themselves to reading and obeying the law, they were strengthened and filled with joy. Similarly, in Acts 8, despite persecution, Philip obeyed the Lord's command to preach the gospel in Samaria. The results were incredible: the demon-possessed were freed, the paralyzed and the lame walked. I especially like the ending: 'And there was great joy in the city.

Jesus serves others. What a beautiful example. He was even willing to do the dirty work of cleaning his disciples’ feet. It wasn’t glorious. Work for the Lord is hard and often times not glorious.

Amen. It is important to apply what we learn from God's word. It is equally important to teach it to others. As an elementary teacher, one advantage I observe is that I learn first before teaching it to my students. I also learn more every time I share what I have learned with my students.
